Mentor Volunteer Role Description
Location: St Peter’s Secondary School, Huntingdon
Hours: Flexible
Overview
Thrive Youth Work aims to see the lives of young people transformed. We do this by partnering with churches, schools, and communities to offer programmes that support the social, emotional, and spiritual growth of young people. In your role as a Volunteer Mentor, you will provide young people with early intervention and pastoral support to help them develop independent skills to cope with issues such as anxiety and low self-esteem. This can either be done through weekly 1:1 and/or group mentoring over a set period (usually 6 weeks). This role is a brilliant opportunity for anyone who would like to be part of our mission to serve and care for young people in the area and has experience working with young people. Hours can be flexible, and commitment can be discussed with the Project Lead/Mentoring Coordinator. Training will be provided.
